Came across the above and thought it interesting. Shaded yellow have dropped out of the race.

Fox News Sunday-Fiorina still out there

Couple of interesting things about this show, we had Carly Fiorina on arguing for a very simplified tax code but that she would be agreeable to keeping a deduct for charity and home mortgages.

I had no idea this was a subject capturing Carly’s heart but first, it will never happen, yon reader, write this down. Too many people, groups, organizations and politicos get breaks via income tax deductions and dear Lord the ONLY break almost the little guy gets is the home mortgage…benefit from these tax breaks. How’s that for a run-on sentence?

The idea of having a home interest mortgage deduction is encourage folks like us, ordinary guys wanting to be paying into ownership instead of rent, to go out and buy a house.

Now you might argue that our income tax system is no place to be doing social manipulation but let’s acknowledge that it’s why it was done when we make our decision.

Richard Burr, Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee made an appearance and not much to report here except he says there is no known credible threat in America. I vote to not have any Senator show up on Sunday political talk shows ever as they never say much of nothing.

One interesting topic discussed on this show Sunday was the hint that perhaps the reason the video on that Chicago shooting that resulted in a police officer charged with first degree murder was released so long after the event is that there was a Mayor’s race ongoing and such videos might have cost….who? RAHM EMMANUEL! …..the election.

I been reading hints about this all week and I think there’s truth to it.

Chicago, made into another Syria thanks to the Democrats.

ABC’s This Week-Planned Parenthood Shooting exposed-

Oh my goodness but aren’t the Lamestream media all atwitter over this shooting in Colorado Springs. The Mayor of this town got himself some face time as he showed up for this show.

There was even a Planned Parenthood official guest on this show declaring that they found an “anti-Obama” pamphlet of the shooter, guy named, I’m not making this up…DEAR.

As orgasmic as they may be, go on….getting excited because some right wing lunatic finally gets caught shooting stuff up…..come on…this guy lived in a little trailer in some remote nutberg.

He’s a goofball and Planned Parenthood, that fine abortion place with a baby body parts for sale on the side, wants desperately to show how nutball us people who think ripping limbs off of an aborted baby to be horrific.

Planned Parenthood would be better off keeping a low profile on this. I suspect Dear is hardly any Timothy McVeigh.

Jus’ sayin’.

Also had a visit by Ben Carson on several shows this week. Carson’s latest meme seems to be that perhaps America should do a study of those refugee camps and figure out what is the problem that has them trying to escape. The refugee camps, were, after all, created to….eh….house the refugees. Until they could return home, as is considered the norm.

Political Pic of the Week

Meet the Press

But of course we had a visit by Donald Trump on this show and the only thing of note was Chuck Todd chastising Trump that he declared Obama wanted to bring in only 200,000 Syrians when it was, in fact, only 10,000.

This is so lame, arguing about HOW MANY refugees to bring in instead of debating whether to bring in any at all.

Also, on Meet the Press, we have a round table of Eugene Robinson, Andrea Mitchell, Hugh Hewett and another bunch of righteous journalistic liberals all sitting around discussing Donald Trump with their mumbled reasons why he’s WRONG, DEAR LORD HE IS WRONG, HE IS WRONG ABOUT THE SYRIAN REFUGEES AND THE NEW JERSEY CELEBRATIONS BOO HOO BOO HOO BOO HOO HE IS WRONG, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER< THE SON AND THE HOLY GHOST WHEN WILL THE STUPID AMERICANS GET THAT HE IS WRONG?

Face the Nation

And again, Ben Carson shows up to defend the accusation that he knows nothing about foreign relations. For the record, the President of the United States has access to expertise from anybody on the planet, no problem the cost, no problem obtaining consultation. I do not buy this argument that we need someone trained in foreign relation to vote for a President. How many people are, after all, experts on foreign relations?

On this show Carson suggests that America check out the country of Jordan and see why they can’t take some of the Syrian refugees.

DR11.30.15SUNDAYPOLIJEBBUSHWe also had a visit by Jeb Bush on this show . Jeb advocates setting up a “no fly” zone over Syria and damn why does America have to do everything?

So just like in Iraq when Saddam was involved in his evil ways, we have to have planes fly over the area where civilians are vulnerable to bombs and dropped mass poisons? Every day, our plane flies over, then returns, another one goes out. The cost of this is humongous.

Also had a quick visit with John McCain and buddy Lindsay Graham. Both of these infamous hawks declare that we need to send more than ten thousand American troops into Syria. It’s good to have tough guys in the Senate but I am suspicious of those two. If they think there might be a war somewhere they’re both out touting American involvement.

CNN State of the Union

Mike Huckabee, former Governor of Arkansas, made an appearance on this show and of course he was ambushed with questions about the big, brave shooter at the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood.

Huckabee did a pretty good job of pooh-poohing this notion that Tea Party types are out shooting up Planned Parenthood clinics.

And Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, this guy needs to take a class in communications. He hinted, awkwardly, that it was all the fault of Conservative talk radio types.

Rush Limbaugh did it! Yeah! That’s the ticket.

My Take

I think Ben Carson is onto something with his suggestions, on several shows on this day, that America take a closer look at this Syrian refugee situation, why aren’t they staying behind to help free their country? Why don’t some of the Arab countries take in these refugees? Why are they desperate to emigrate to a strange country instead of returning to their own?

Oh my goodness, dear Ben, they want to make you look stupid. They sure don’t want you pointing out the common sense thing as we all suspect that this is a way of having a country import its own enemy army and frankly it’s right smart of them.

This Planned Parenthood shooting, come on yon ladies and gems…..there is waaaaaaay more to this story than meets the eye.

They’re excited that a Tea Party nut job finally went out and shot up a bunch of people, finally we can blame Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and the Sussex county GOP.

IF things go well they’ll be able to ban all talk radio completely.

I do not respond to comments on my posts. I certainly have no problem with such commentary and, indeed, encourage it. But I’ve written my piece and I don’t want to argue it further.
Please feel free to email me at patfish1@aol.com if you want to send me a special comment or have any ideas or information you want to share.

NEXT : The final update on the property dispute and the Sussex county council if they are in session, I dunno.

The fact that you refer to Dear, aka a cold-blooded MURDERER, as a mere “goofball” and minimize his actions because they aren’t in as grand a scale as Timothy McVeigh is despicable. Thank goodness you don’t speak for the entire party. There are families and communities grieving because of this man’s self-righteousness and your apathy diminishes this. It is precisely this attitude and the pride and shamelessness with which it is shouted across the valley that creates the cold and uncaring image the Republican party has at home and abroad.

There are families and communities grieving because of this man’s self-righteousness…

He is nuts. You can tell just by looking at him.

Meanwhile, Chicago has broken the 400-murder barrier. But since it’s primarily black-on-black in a Socialist-Democrat stronghold, the media doesn’t have much to say about it.

Oh well, like Stalin said, “one death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic.”

  3. delacrat says:

No one is calling the Planned Parenthood shooting, White-on-White violence, because “the media” pretends it does not exist.

  4. Rick says:

Of course it “exists.” But per-capita, the black on black murder rate is astronomical. It seems like the only time “black lives matter” is when a cop is involved.

What goes on in American inner cities- Chicago, New Orleans, Baltimore….Wilmington- would in earlier times be considered to be nothing short of genocide. And who runs those cities? The Socialist-Democrats, who oversee a bloodbath as heinous as the wildest dreams of the KKK.

  5. geezer says:

You have to be pretty myopic not to see the media reports of gun violence in Chicago. The reason it doesn’t become a big media story is that nobody pretends nothing is wrong, as they do when police kill another unarmed person.

The question, Rick, is why someone so worried about government overreach is supportive of the gangs we call police. Last year the police seized $4.5 of property through civil forfeiture; the total stolen by burglars was $3.5 billion.

The reason it (gun violence in Chicao, New Orleans, Baltimore) “doesn’t become a big media story” is because it doesn’t fit in the “liberal” narrative. The Socialist-Democrat left runs most cities and most cities are murder traps.

The question, Rick, is why someone so worried about government overreach is supportive of the gangs we call police.

“Gangs?” Whatever. I do support the idea that the black community should police itself. If and when that occurs, you shall then see the true definition of mayhem.

Last year the police seized $4.5 of property through civil forfeiture; the total stolen by burglars was $3.5 billion.

A lot of drug dealers and white collar criminals actually buy their cars, boats, jewelry and houses, which would account for the 4.5 – 3.5 discrepancy.

I do have a problem with cops shooting somebody unnecessarily, as happened in Chicago. But why was the guy walking in the middle of the street with a knife in his hand? No, he didn’t deserve to be killed. But one may ask, was he ready to kill? Or is it considered to be normal behavior in Chicago to be walking down the street with a knife in your hand?

Got something to say? Go for it!
