Yeah But

donald trump clown If your defense of Donald Trump’s lewd behavior begins with, ends with, or contains in anyway this phrase, “yeah but Bill Clinton did much worse “. Then you have given up all hope of being an intelligent, thoughtful, responsible citizen, and have chosen the Dark-side. If you choose to ignore the fact that one person’s bad act does not excuse those of others, then you should take a long and desperate look within. You are an empty husk of a human being who cares only about some twisted idea of what winning is.

People say things in private related to sex; both males and females.

But in choosing the best human being possible to run our country, having these things pop up three weeks before an election is the kiss of death.

I can attest that women speak of men equally as crude as the Donald was speaking in what he thought was confidence to an acquaintance about a woman. The political fallout is that this incident coupled with others, all align to seal his character as a predator of women. He is the new Cosby.

The difference between utterances by men versus women, is that men and women are not equal. This is particularly bad because a male in putting down a woman, is keeping her down, … down in pay, down in promotability, and down as in depression.

If you are with a group who gets drunk and starts belittling the opposite sex, I guess a good line of thinking about it, would be this: would I allow this to continue if they were talking about my daughter? Would I allow this to continue if they were talking about my wife? Would I allow this if they were talking about my mother?

Bottom line, they are someone’s daughter, wife, or mother. People who often get called “Libtards” are way ahead on the curve here. They don’t discuss sex in a brutal or derogatory fashion. Conservatives are mostly the ones who overstep, perhaps because they think they’re entitled, because they see men as the dominant gender to whom women must acquiesce.

If they do often overstep, it is time for them to rethink that equation.

I’m sadly reminded of Joe Paterno who in his old age, thought he’d done more than enough to end the Sandusky problem,… Things like that didn’t happen back when he was developing (that you ever heard about), and if you told a guy not to do it anymore, you expected it not to be done anymore. Most of these commentators on other conservative sites are equally lost.. Time has moved on for them, and they missed the horn announcing the boat had left…

So for them… if you’d wouldn’t accept it being said about your mother, wife, or daughter… it’s not ok…

I like Trump. He says what’s on his mind.

  4. Honi Soit says:

Wonder what Rob Arlett’s got to say?

  5. Frank Knotts says:

Yeah Fishbites, like someone suffering from Asperger Syndrome!

Not sure if I understand the comparison of Trump’s latest controversy compared to that of the Clinton’s.

On one hand you have a guy who uses locker room bravado language in limited company , and on the other hand you have the Clinton’s who have been proven to systematically lie and deceive for their own gains.

Who cares about the lies, deceit, and inept failures brought on by the actions and inactions of Hillary Clinton and the current administration because we now know that Trump has a potty mouth.

  7. Honi Soit says:

FBH: Your takeaway is only that Trump uses foul language? Pleeze! You didn’t get that he was using his potty mouth to describe his history of sexual assaults? It’s not so much his choice of words as it is his actions. That’s the comparison that seems lost on you.

And I still want to know where Arlett stands on all of this.

  8. Laffter says:

Maybe Fish bites is secretly hoping Trump would
    Grab her Pu**y…..

He also talks about hitting on married women

At least Monica Lewisnsky NEVER said she was not
    A willing participant …..

TRUMP seems quite ok with offensive touching a sexual
Assault his view of women is , well……. from the middle
    Ages. Literally

  9. Henry says:

The world is full of hypocrites.

  10. Honi Soit says:

Rob Arlett, Delaware state chairman for the Trump campaign, said the remarks in the recording are “unacceptable,” but said the news should not force Trump to quit the race.

Arlett found time to speak to the News Journal:

“I’m not minimizing what was said, but what is most important and is most impactful are the actions of Hillary Clinton,” Arlett said. “We should be focused on her cover-ups and corruption, not the words of Donald Trump from more than a decade ago.”
Arlett said Trump had “taken full responsibility for” the comments and had not tried to hide from them. “I’m confident that he will continue to be remorseful and apologetic,” Arlett said. “I think he will do that at [Sunday’s] debate and I think he will be able to focus us all again on the future of this country.”

Good luck with that Rob, I have to marvel at your capacity to delude yourself.

  11. Honi Soit says:

James Spadola, running for the North Wilmington District 1 Senate currently held by Democratic Sen. Harris McDowell, said Trump’s candidacy is a disaster for the GOP. “Our party nominated a pig, and that’s going to make us all have to work a lot harder,” said Spadola. Of course, Arlett is working only for Trump–not the party. His defense of Trump needs to be seen in that context.

  12. anon says:

What Trump said in that hot mic clip was exactly what Bill Clinton did to Kathleen Willey in the White House…she went to him to ask him to move her from a volunteer position at the White House to a paying position and he grabbed her genitals.

And then Hillary Clinton threatened and intimidated Willey into silence. Willey lived in fear for a decade.

The Clintons destroyed any woman who dared to stand up to Bill Clinton’s sexual advances and they destroyed any woman who came forward to tell their stories about their affairs with Bill Clinton.

I applaud Trump for bringing these women forward to show the world how the Clinton’s actions destroyed women, and shame on you so called “republicans” who are still nothing more than a legion of old, white men trying to figure out right and wrong when it comes to sexual assault. Here’s a hint: Literally grabbing a woman’s genitals in the Oval Office is wrong, and threatening her afterwards doesn’t make it any less wrong. Why do we want that back in the White House? I’ll take Trump’s ignorant words over the Clinton’s plotting, threatening and literal sexual attacks.

  13. Honi Soit says:

Oh my gosh, anon. Why didn’t you step forward and testify to the office of the special counsel when all of this was happening ? You make it sound as though you were a witness! But the report states that there were no witnesses and nobody really knows what happened between the two of them.

  14. Rick says:

Bill Clinton would never use the language Trump did. LOL.

  15. Rick says:

But the report states that there were no witnesses…

Okay. No witness, no rape. Right?

  16. Fish Bites says:

Uhmmm, Rick, you do understand that not even Monica Lewinsky has suggested anything non-consensual.

I will say this, Trump said he wanted to unify this country, and I think he’s doing a pretty good job. Just not in the way he intended.

  17. Mike says:

First off, let me say that I have no intention of voting for Hillary Clinton. I don’t support her candidacy, will not vote for her, and do not believe she is what this county needs.

However, I keep hearing how Hillary Clinton Hillary Clinton “threatened and intimidated” and “destroyed any woman who dared to stand up to Bill Clinton’s sexual advances and they destroyed any woman who came forward to tell their stories about their affairs with Bill Clinton.”

I see little of evidence put forward of actual action on her part to do these things. She has been a highly visible public figure for the past 30 years, and I would think if she were out there threatening and intimidating women, Rick Lazio (in that brutal Senate race), Michelle Obama (in the primary) and others would have made the case by now.

  18. Honi Soit says:

This is what Juanita Broaddrick told the Drudge Report in an interview in 1999:
“She (Hillary) came directly to me as soon as she hit the door … She caught me and took my hand and said ‘I am so happy to meet you. I want you to know that we appreciate everything you do for Bill.’”

Broaddrick says she found these comments “scary,” especially after Hillary repeated them a second time when her “smile faded on the second thank you”. The former nursing home worker said she was “in state of shock … nausea went all over me”.

That’s all I could fine. Maybe Rick or FBH know something I don’t?

  19. mouse says:

Why is it so difficult for old conservative white men to distinguish between consensual and non consensual sex?

  20. Dave says:

A rich guy who can generally do whatever he pleases with little or no repercussions. He is the embodiment of the ideal (male) fantasy, to exist in a world where one can have whatever they want and do whatever they want. That’s a big reason for his popularity – someone who can get away with thumbing their nose at the establishment. He has no class and consequently has no concept of how to be politically correct or how to behave in polite society.

To have such a person as the leader of the free world would be the greatest embarrassment of American history. But all that pales in comparison to his unfitness as Commander In Chief and Chief Executive of the United States.

I disagree with Cruz’s policies. Bush, Rubio, etc. any of them would have been at least semi competent in those roles – and may have had a shot at my vote, depending on how they acquitted themselves during the campaign. But we are where we are and our choices are limited between someone who is competent with whom we disagree or someone like Trump.

Most of you may think you know the process by which nuclear weapons are launched. You don’t. At DEFCON 1, it takes about 5 minutes. At other levels about 15 minutes. Everything happens simultaneously. Not like you see in the movies.

This campaign is not an WWE Raw event. Despite what you may see in the media. Everyone gets to vote how they wish. I’m will vote sober and somberly because it means that much to our nation and the world.

Got something to say? Go for it!
