Over at DelawarePolitics the story about people being lynched in Dover has become a comment thread about Eric Bodenweiser’s case. I have posted this statistic three times at the site because people keep posting that Bodenweiser is innocent because his accuser has a criminal history.

The statistics prove that children who are abused have a significantly higher chance of turning to a life of crime. This is a fact that the people at DelawarePolitics.net are scared of, I can only assume they are scared for their sheep to see that because Bodenweiser might lose some of his support.

    Here is the statistic:

•Children who experience child abuse & neglect are 59% more likely to be arrested as a juvenile, 28% more likely to be arrested as an adult, and 30% more likely to commit violent crime.

But even weirder than the people over there trying to hide the fact that abused children have a greater chance of being criminals, is the fact that they think that Bodenweiser’s attorney doesn’t speak for Bodenweiser, so when Joe Hurley says that he’s trying to get a plea deal from the AG’s office, that doesn’t mean Bodenweiser is trying to get a plea deal.

  2. Laffter says:

Welcome to the insane world of Delaware politics

  3. What the heck says:

There’s a new lynching post on DP, with more details. This thing is going viral. It’s an interesting read.

  4. Tuxamus Maximus says:

Tuxamus Maximus wonders what all the fuss is about over there at DP. Anyone with any sense knows how, and why, indictments are sought and handed down.

Tuxamus Maximus also knows that all the talk about plea deals is irrelevant until all motions are heard and ruled upon and it’s finally time to get down to business of applying justice in the courtroom. It’s kind of like a Texas Hold ’em poker game in that you don’t get out until you know you’ve lost or willing to bluff your way through it in hope you win! Apparently the DOJ feels they have, and have had, a winning hand all along. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. But Tuxamus Maximus does wonder why closed doors when that is not the normal way of holding court room motion hearings. Must be something really bad that the judge feels shouldn’t be made public at this time.

Tuxamus Maximus hopes Mr. Knotts doesn’t mind a second use of “Makes on want to go Hummmmmm”.

  5. anon says:

The only thing “viral” at Delaware Politics is the syphilis infection that’s causing Don Ayotte’s insanity.

  6. What the heck says:

Good to see that you have studied the manifestations of advanced syphilis, probably studied after you received your diagnosis for this particular illness. I am saddened to hear of your demise but enlightened to hear that you are in advanced stages of that malady, and it won’t be long before you meet the same fate as Al Capone.

  7. anon says:

Ah, the “I’m rubber you’re glue” defense. A sign of a true intellectual thinker. Shouldn’t you be in the sandbox with the rest of the children?

  8. Tuxamus Maximus says:

Anon (rubber/glue is just too good!) is funny AND makes a good point!

Tuxamus Maximus thinks ‘what the heck’ made a boo boo in the sandbox and all the other children left so he came here to make everyone miserable. Misery lives company…

Tuxamus Maximus thinks ‘wth’ should move on to another sandbox now because this was a clean house here. Wishing death on someone isn’t playing nice. Move along now.

  9. Elsa Ronningstam ACP says:

Referring to yourself in the third person a major human flaw creates distance between “I” and “he.” People using the third person have an exaggerated view of how great they are. They are generally diagnosed as suffering from a form of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, first formulated in 1968 it was historically called megalomania. Persons diagnosed with a Narcissistic Personality Disorder are characterized by unwarranted feelings of self-importance. They have a sense of entitlement and demonstrate grandiosity in their beliefs and behavior. They have a strong need for admiration, but lack feelings of empathy for others. These qualities are usually defenses against a deep feeling of inferiority and inadequacy.

  10. meatball says:

Except when someone is just goofing around on a blog. In that case, it is considered just goofing around on a blog. Besides, I think Tuxamus Maximus is a cat in which case Narcissistic Personality Disorder and megalomania are the norm.

  11. Tuxamus Maximus says:

Tuxamus Maximus appreciates Elsa’s diagnosis and hopes that men in white coats finally catch up with him and get the straight jacket on and in the rubber room very soon. Tuxamus Maximus appreciates Elsa’s concern for state of mental health and will now go outside and play in the traffic with hands high in the air shouting “I’m a blithering idiot and a menace to society” and since it’s not a good day to mow the yard why not just just play in the rain and dodge lightning bolts. Would that make Elsa happy? Elsa makes Tuxamus Maximus look up big words in dictionary as well.
Tuxamus Maximus needs to google big phrases.
Tuxamus Maximus must grab banana and swing from trees.
    Tuxamus Maximus giggles too much.
Tuxamus Maximus is shamed and must be beaten.
Tuxamus Maximus is too goofy for society.
Tuxamus Maximus need Elsa to fill in last line for all to know

Tuxamus Maximus was out playing in the street (with metal rod in hands) when almost run over by a propane truck! Tuxamus Maximus thinks the truck sped up! One of the voices in Tuxamus Maximus’ head asked “What does “ACP” stand for so it asked all the other voices and none knew so Tuxamus Maximus came back in to ask Elsa Ronningstam ACP to educate Tuxamus Maximus so that Tuxamus Maximus can learn something today. None of the voices in Tuxamus Maximus’s head thought they took themselves, or any of the others, very seriously but must be wrong because Elsa has letters after her name and must be much smarter than all Tuxamus Maximus’s voices combined so Tuxamus Maximus is deeply humbled and in great awe of the most knowledgeable Elsa ACP. Please help the voices as they begin to argue whether to use Bing or Google.

Meatball is partially correct but sometimes the barking voice won’t quit so it must be a dog as well but that doesn’t account for the swinging from trees with banana as we all want to avoid being caught by the men in white coats carrying all the straight jackets needed to capture all of us.

Tuxamus Maximus appreciates that Meatball knows that Tuxamus Maximus is really just goofing around on a blog but please don’t tell Elsa ACP as Tuxamus Maximus awaits the opportunity to learn something but hopes she uses smaller and easier to understand words in her education of Tuxamus Maximus. BIG words scare Tuxamus Maximus almost as much as the propane truck that almost ran over all the voices in Tuxamus Maximus head.

Tuxamus Maximus thinks that mowing the yard in the rain might be safer than playing in the street so all of us are going to start the BIG mower up and attach the pole to Tuxamus Maximus’s head in hopes Tuxamus Maximus gets a jolt of knowledge and stops taking all those voices too seriously.

Tuxamus Maximus had a vote of voices and will use Yahoo instead of Bing or Google.

    Tuxamus Maximus 1st party
    Tuxamus Maximus 2nd party
    Tuxamus Maximus 3rd party
Tuxamus Maximus thinks this party is getting way too big

  13. Harry Whittington says:

ACP stand for Associate Clinical Professor.

I emailed my dear friend Elsa from the Great State of Massachusetts and asked her to clarify her diagnosis of you, Tux. I’ll let you know what she says.

  14. Dave says:

I gonna bet that your dear friend won’t know what you are talking about and of course there’s the inconvenient aspect that the entire post was taken verbatim from Wikipedia. I’m sure the site admin can easily associate IPs with someone who posted here under another name.

It’s one thing to post as some historical, famous or infamous person, but when they pretend to be someone who is alive and has professional reputation it borders on a criminal act.

DEL CODE § 907 : Delaware Code – Section 907: CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION; CLASS A MISDEMEANOR, A person is guilty of criminal impersonation when the person: (1) Impersonates another person and does an act in an assumed character intending to obtain a benefit or to injure or defraud another person; or …

I can’t speak for Tux, but if it were me, I would be injured (considering injury is not necessarily defined as physical injury).

In any case, impersonating another living person without making clear that the poster is not the actual person whose name he is using demonstrates no class and no intellect. Additionally, it should violate the terms of use for this site.

  15. Tuxamus Maximus says:

Tuxamus Maximus saddened that only a Associate Clinical Professor, that may be a fake, could possibly be from Harry ‘Our Hero” Whittington. Tuxamus Maximus feels that only the top Banana Clinical Professor should try to diagnose the myriad of reasons Tuxamus Maximus is here. Knows IP is from another place but Tuxamus Maximus can see “The Brick”.

Dave always bright spot for Tuxamus Maximus and has been told to stay the course.

Tuxamus Maximus likes Harry and wants only to continue to appreciate all Dave, Harry and many of the others, (who loves ya Laffter!) the others (including Mr. Knotts) that play well offer to this forum.

Tuxamus Maximus just off call and wants to express most sincere disappointment that Dave called it right. Someone from Harvard on THIS BLOG? oh that’s sad. Tuxamus Maximus now has to go hang head in shame that he was snookered and the main person was laughing so hard at him but Tuxamus Maximus had fun earlier as did the one. Must do better… but the one is very proud of Dave!

Tuxamus Maximus go over to DL now but DR and DP stay on screens.

  16. Dave says:

Tux, I think you misunderstood my comment. I wasn’t suggesting it was Harry. I was just tagging on to Harry’s comment. I don’t know who it is that posted as Elsa

  17. Tuxamus Maximus says:

    @ Dave
    Technically you’re correct.
    Tuxamus Maximus

Tuxamus Maximus aka Taxi Maxi and now Tux (among others) hopes all have a great weekend.

  18. Laffter says:

Laffter loves Tuxamus Maximus, TaziMaxi, Tux and TM

Love all of ya! An all your voices……

    Have an awesome weekend folks!

  19. Tuxamus Maximus says:

Tuxamus Maximus appreciates Laffter’s comment and all of us (Taxi Maxi Tux, TM and others) are all playing well as a group now. We even took time to read some of Elsa’s work over the weekend. Deep stuff and makes one wonder about a lot of people.

Tuxamus Maximus also wants to write that Harry and his usual wit and wisdom are missed and hopes that Harry comes back to play soon. Not all is as it seems Harry and there is a method to Tuxamus Maximus’s madness and a reason for all being done with this madness. It’s a lot nicer here than at that other place where people like ‘WTH’ are just out and out nasty.

    Yes! Finally something about depobola.

Got something to say? Go for it!
