The results are in, and the winners have been announced in the Georgetown elections of Mayor and Town Council held yesterday.
Below are the results, I am sure that all of the participants would like to thank all who came out to vote, for their time and effort to take part in our greatest freedom. The freedom to choose those who represent us.
I would like to give a special “job well done” to David Anderson and his team. This was Mr. Anderson’s first run for elected office, and along with his wife and friends, he was able to deliver a message that resonated with the voters of Georgetown. I am sure they all have sore feet and knuckles from knocking doors, because that is where races are won and lost in Sussex County, on the front door steps of the voters.
