Exercising My Freedom Of Speech & Anthony Delcollo

Lacey and anthony  It has been just over a year ago, I first shared the fact, I had received a certified letter from the law firm Cooch & Taylor, signed by one of their associate attorneys, Anthony Delcollo.  This letter was an attempt to bully me into silence, an attempt to end my criticism of three people named in the letter as “clients”  of Mr. Delcollo. The three people were, former Sussex GOP Chair, Vincent Calabro, candidate for governor of Delaware, Lacey Lafferty, and Chairman of the Delaware Indpendent Party of Delaware.

It seems as though the three amigos felt I had in some way slandered and or libeled them in my political critique of their activities.

For Mr. Delcollo’s part, he chose to play along with this trio of whiny little children. The letter was published right here at Delaware Right on October 28th, 2015.

Who’s Afraid Of The Big Bad Blogger? Pt. III, (Or, Who The Hell Is Fank Knotts?)

In the letter written by a so-called attorney, Anthony Delcollo, I was threatened with a law suit if I did not immediately cease the “exercising” of my First Amendment right, of freedom of speech.

I was told to stop writing about the three amigos, to remove all references from this site of them, and to not remove anything I had written on this site. (Yeah I know, kind of says it all, doesn’t it?)

And why? Had I written anything about their personal lives? Had I accused them of anything outside of the political arena, in which they had voluntarily placed themselves? No, I had restricted my criticisms to their political activities. The first Amendment is clearly written to protect us from those who are, or would be our political leaders. This is what Lafferty, Calabro, and Ayotte would have silenced with the aid of Anthony Delcollo.

Why is it relevant to again bring this up now? After all, nothing ever came of this attack on my freedom of speech. Well because, we are exactly one week away from election day, and Anthony Delcollo is not only a questionable attorney, he is also a questionable Republican candidate for the state Senate. He is running against Democrat incumbent, President pro Tempore, Patti Blevins for the 7th Senatorial District.

Blevins  Sen. Blevins is most likely one of, if not the most liberal members of the Delaware General Assembly, she has been instrumental in proposing, working and passing some of the most progressive legislation in Delaware’s history.

She has supported homosexual marriage, the so-called bathroom bill which allows transgender people to use whichever public bathroom they identify as. She has been an influential part of the one party rule by the Democrats here in Delaware, and in moving their agenda of tax and spend forward.

I believe the voters have a right to be informed. I believe they have a duty to exercise their obligation to vote, in a manner which best benefits, not only themselves, but all the citizens of the state of Delaware.

The question the voters of the 7th Senatorial District have to ask themselves, will they vote for a person who has been honest about who they are as a progressive Democrat, who has represented their district in a manner which has seen them re-elected since 1990?

Or will they vote for a person who, while attempting to portray themselves as  a defender of the Constitution, chose to attack the very foundation of our nation’s freedom, our most important freedom, the freedom without which, we could not speak in defense of all of our other freedoms, our freedom of speech.

We often hear how it is the left, who we must fear in regards of protecting our rights and freedoms, that they will stop at nothing to take away our guns, our right to worship as we see fit, our freedom to protest and speak out against the abuses of our government.

But all too often, it is the so-called “conservatives“, who are ever so quick to infringe on the rights of all citizens, because it is not about Fank Knotts alone, it is about a person who would be elected to the halls of government, who would have the power to infringe on any and all of our rights and freedoms.

No, I can’t vote in the 7th Senatorial District race, but if I could, it would be an easy vote for me, because I would rather battle the most liberal person ever, who is honest about who they are, rather than put some phony, so-called conservative in a position to pass actual laws with which to shrink our freedom of speech.

I hope the voters of the 7th will make the choice for freedom.

I would encourage all readers here to place Anthony Delcollo in the search box on the lower left side of the site and hit enter to see all I have written about Mr. Delcollo and his history.

I know this is personal for you, but from an impersonal observer’s position, a cute little kitten would have a better chance running against Blevins than does DelCollo.. Even though everyone assumes kittens can’t govern, they would still be better off with that neutral choice, then in having DelCollo fill that slot. Hopefully his vote totals will be in the low 30’s and we can never again see him run.

  2. Henry says:

Frank all the Republican candidates running in New Castle are going to lose so what difference does it make resurrecting old blog garbage. Matter of fact I should add Republican statewide candidates including your boss are going to lose too.
Second one in a week. Run out of ideas? Slow news day?
No I don’t think so. You just can’t help yourself crying victim all the time.

  3. Rick says:

…could, it would be an easy vote for me, because I would rather battle the most liberal person ever, who is honest about who they are, rather than put some phony, so-called conservative in a position to pass actual laws with which to shrink our freedom of speech.

Then why are you voting for Hillary Clinton? She’s a leftist ideologue who lies about her positions daily in order to appear “moderate.” Also, she will reintroduce the “fairness doctrine,” which will not only affect your free speech, but will destroy what little vestage of conservative media that still remains.

It’s obvious that Frank is a mole for the Socialist-Democrat left. “Delaware Right” is an inside joke, sort of like “People for the American Way.” A front, a gathering place for fellow travelers to pretend to be “reasonable.”

Hillary Clinton did everything in her power to destroy the lives of women raped by her husband. She sat and watched as a US Ambassador and several operatives were murdered- then blamed it on a “video,” even lying to family members of those killed. She orchestrated a deal whereby 20% of U.S. uranium stores were sent to Putin. She advocated the deposing of Mubarak and Ghaddafi, and now Egypt and Libya are run by lunatic clerics and ISIS. She put state secrets at risk by ignoring State Department security protocols- and then lied about it. She and her predator husband have made millions by producing nothing but selling influence, even to Arab oligarchs who stone gays and behead wives. Her whole life is just one lie after another, one self-inflicted controversy after another. Just what America needs.

Hillary is a corrupt, greedy serial liar with a lifetime record of incompetence.

Donald Trump pinched Miss America’s ass in ’92.

So, the choice is obvious, right Frank?

  4. Frank Knotts says:

Rick, please stay on topic, there are plenty of threads on the topic of Trump where you can once again repeat your views. Thanks

  5. Fish Bites says:

What’s particularly weasely on the part of Delcollo is how, after his engagement with Ayotte & friends, he essentially badmouthed them. On issues involving a former client, the best move for an attorney is simply not to comment. But Delcollo was worried about how his representation of Ayotte would affect Delcollo’s personal reputation.

As soon as an attorney puts his own reputation above his duties to a client, or even a former client, that is a huge red flag that the attorney is heading for the rocky shoals of ethical problems. Delcollo was perfectly happy to stab a former client in the back, because it suited his personal interests. Not the sort of stuff that public service is made of.

Got to love the spray painted Trump signs on 4-8 sheets of plywood in Sussex county lol. Trump is fortunate that his followers have no sense of dignity either

  7. Henry says:

At least SC Trump’s deplorables have enough sense improvise. Up here in screwed up NCC which is nothing but an extension of f–k-d up Philadelphia people are to damn lazy to do anything but breed.

Back on topic. If you can’t find a current topic to write about why not ask your massive audience, all five of them. Let me be the first.

    Titled:
When there is no chance of winning a Delaware election why does the same people in the Republican Party run for office time after time?

Give them a suggestion. File on the Democratic ticket, the odds are better.

  8. Frank Knotts says:

Mouse, please see above comment to Rick.

  9. Blue Shield says:

    Frank
Just when I think you have sunk to your lowest level, you surprise me yet again. You are devoid of both conscience and intelligence, with the morals of a guttersnipe.

You bring up old subjects when you are too dimwitted to come up with anything original. You and your pitiful entourage of pit vipers such as Grossman and Cragg, must have nothing left to lose as you go one humiliating yourselves with garbage like this.

  10. Rick says:

    Rick, please stay on topic..

I am on topic. You are a Socialist-Democrat mole, no matter what the thread.

  11. Honi Soit says:

@Frank Sen. Blevins is most likely one of, if not the most liberal members of the Delaware General Assembly….

Yes, but a few others are more liberal, according to the American Conservative Union’s scorecard. From the Senate, we have Bushweller, Hall-Long, Henry, Marshall, McBride, McDowell, Poore, and Sokola.

  12. Frank Knotts says:

This is not an old topic, it is about a current campaign in the current election cycle.

  13. Sussex Dem says:

Frank’s post is more relevant than most of you realize. As unbelievable as it sounds (especially in a presidential election year), there is real concern in Elsmere and throughout the state that Patti may lose.

  14. Henry says:

Well than if it’s a current topic than exclude yourself from the old topic and write about “What has Delcollo done to compete with Blevins?” or “Has Delcollo done enough to win against Blevins?”

Do I have to do your job for you?

Not really BC you know damn well you wanted to cry victim again. You know damn well you’re not. Or is this a desperate attempt to get Dan Gaffney to get you on talk radio again inflating your ego. Massive ego. Very massive.

  15. Henry says:

Sussex Dem you are delusional. Patty Blevins is rock solid in her predominantly Democratic district. They are all happy with her.
Bad move on Delcollo to take on Blevins. He wasted his time.
Do more in Sussex to win your races Dem, NCC doesn’t need you.

  16. Fish Bites says:

“Up here in screwed up NCC which is nothing but an extension of f–k-d up Philadelphia people are to damn lazy to do anything but breed.”

    New Castle County:
The median income for a household in the county is $52,419, and the median income for a family is $62,144. 8.40% of the population and 5.60% of families are below the poverty line.

    Sussex County:
The median income for a household in the county was $51,046 and the median income for a family was $59,053. About 8.0% of families and 11.7% of the population were below the poverty line.

Get to work down there. You don’t get enough exercise cashing farm subsidy checks.

  17. Sussex Dem says:

Henry: I thought the same thing about Patti’s race as you. I’m just telling you what people close to the campaign are saying.

  18. Rick says:

Income stats about even. Amazing, since half of Wilmington- er, Murder Town- are on welfare.

  19. Henry says:

Take away public assistance from the people who should be working in NCC and then see how your numbers increase poverty rate. Ride around town and you will see young people hanging out instead of getting a job or at least attempt to start a business of their own.
Last time I knew no one makes them stay in Wilmington. Leave find work somewhere instead living off the backs of the tax payers. Nope. There are going stay and vote Democrat to keep that welfare check coming in the mail while the state goes broke.

  20. Fish Bites says:

“In spite of the prevailing stereotypes and assumptions about who uses SNAP Food Stamp benefits the most in the United States, the highest usage is not in Compton, Queens, nor the South Side of Chicago. Instead, a city that is 99.22% white and 95% Republican comes in the lead. Owsley County, Kentucky is a community of about 5,000, residents earning the lowest median household income in the country outside of Puerto Rico, according to the U.S. Census.”

  21. Fish Bites says:

If rural white people would ease up on the meth and OxyContin, maybe they’d figure out how to support themselves better.

  22. mouse says:

    Sorry, but he started it

  23. mouse says:

Damn low class whites, nothing but a culture of drugs and welfare

  24. Fish Bites says:

It’s the culture downstate. I doubt there is much that can be done about their rabid fascination with drugs and handouts.

“Regarding local production, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s(DNREC) Emergency Response Team responded to 21 methamphetamine laboratory incidents in calendar year 2015. Of the 21 total incidents, 14 were in Kent County and 7 were in Sussex County.”

  25. Rick says:

Wilmington is a dump. It’s just a fact. Dirty, derelict, violent. An insignificant, dying burgh.

Speaking of dying, why do black people enjoy murder so much? Wherever they gather in great numbers, murder rates skyrocket. Why? There are poor whites. Poor Hispanics. What is with poor blacks? Why must they kill?

    Must be inherent.

  26. Fish Bites says:

    “Wilmington is a dump.”

Well, congratulations Rick on not living there. For someone who doesn’t live somewhere, you sure complain about it a lot. It’s very existence seems to bother you.

  30. Henry says:

I was all right but one. That is good odds.
Must be the picture at the top of this blog that brought him some luck. Lol

Got something to say? Go for it!
