I am not making this up, no pork products in federal prisons.

They say it’s because the prisoners don’t like pork so much.

The ban started with the new fiscal year, which began October 1, and is attributed by the bureau to prisoners not liking pork. Surveys over recent years have found prisoners like pork least of all meats, and it is too costly, prison bureau spokesman Edmond Ross told the Post.

Come on! They don’t like bacon? Who doesn’t like bacon? No pork chops? No ham?

Nah. This is President Obama making his co-Muslims happy.

Here’s an interesting Tidbit

This Wayne Simmons fellow has been found guilty of lying about his service with the CIA in order to work as a contractor for the government.

On Dec 29, 2009, Wayne Simmons gave a TV interview, on which he stated “Islamic Terrorists do not fear the “Boy King” Obama!” He has often referred to the 2008 election as “The Coronation of The Boy King.” My guess is Simmons has been on the White House radar and Enemy List ever since those broadcasts. Now they get to give him the Petraeus Treatment.

Now myself and yon readers know that there is much lying about military service NOT served…..”stolen valor” in other words.

And Mr. Simmons, if he lied, is in the wrong.

I’m thinking it’s about more than lying, that’s it’s a lot about saying bad things about Obama and getting into trouble for same. The “Petraeus Treatment” as the quote says, a quote copied from a public FreeRepublic commenter.

A Story Grossly underplayed by the media

Not that anyone’s surprised, but the story sayss almost 8,000 people showed up to tell President Obama to go home.

Hardly a word from the Lamestream media about such a blatant flipping of the bird to this endlessly political president.

Below is a quote from a commenter on a news board….nothing official. I am told she said this to Anderson Cooper on CNN.

Donna Brazile (African-American)…CNN commentator…just said that Hillary Clinton is a sista! She is married to the first black president…what? I can’t believe that she can keep a straight face saying what she just said! Donna, your thought process is seriously flawed. I am sure if Hillary wins…you will get a nice cabinet position!

Trey Gowdy takes on Elijah Cummings and while we’re on the subject…

The missive written in response to some hellacious lie that Elijah Cummings put out about the Benghazi hearings and good for Trey Gowdy for responding with firmness all to often not present in the Republican party. Although I admit that the public, what with the debates and everything, have glazed eyes over Benghazi with Hillary’s emails becoming more open to the public eyes.

Further it was you, not the Republicans, who has selectively leaked false information to promote your own false narrative. …..and so on.

Just a small quote from Gowdy’s response to Cummings’ assertions that the Republicans are politicizing Benghazi to hurt Hillary.

Yon readers probably heard about the currently ongoing, but evidently stalled, race to fill the Speaker seat in America’s House? At first it was assuredly going to be Kevin McCarthy. Then we hear Paul Ryan, all the time, Paul Ryan.

McCarthy hurt himself for the very fact that he set Cummings up for a victory lap. For McCarthy, in some ill-advised comment about accomplishments of the current GOP, he mentioned how the Republicans have help bring down Hillary’s polls via the Benghazi hearings.

Or something.

It wasn’t very smart of McCarthy and I don’t know what’s going on with Paul Ryan , who, tentatively, I’d have been okay with.

Britt Hume of Fox news made some interesting comments recently. It seems that it requires some 258 votes in the House to be named Speaker. Allegedly McCarthy, with time passing and information coming out, was considered not so good by the various patriot groups, the base of the party…ie. Britt said that if 218 Repub reps were in favor of McCarthy, as alleged repeatedly, and only 40 were considered Tea Party types and vehemently anti-Mccarthy…again as political pundits have been alleging…WHO ARE THE REAL RINOS?

The 218 who like establishment McCarthy, or the 40 against? I guess the comment was meant to make us think about it.

And so I did. I don’t know the answer. I am still waiting to see who will be the next Speaker.
