Fox News Sunday-Fiorina first to bring up the selling of baby parts

Yon ladies and gems, while I am a devout Christian and a Conservative, I am in the camp of Republicans who would rather not have abortion become an issue in a political campaign. More on this later, from one who was a liberal woman’s libber of the highest order.

That would be me.

But this selling of aborted baby parts by Planned Parenthood has me cringing. Indeed most of America would be cringing if they were getting the news with such force as we received, say, Donald Trump’s alleged disparagement of John McCain’s war record.

Carly Fiorina, a lady I like more and more as I listen, gave the Planned Parenthood secret tapes a reaming and good for her. She answered all of Chris Wallace’s questions with panache and passion.

She’s going to get a VP slot….I predict.

Meet the Press-Bernie Sanders still the crazy uncle in the attic

I keep hearing more and more about how bad Hillary’s doing in the polls. Her problem mostly rises when she opens her mouths and dies down when she shuts up.

I am no presidential campaign expert but that is bad news for a campaign.

So over here we have Bernie Sanders and he’s the crazy uncle in the attic. As the Meet the Press round table agreed, Sanders will never get the Democratic nomination as he does not have the African-American vote. Which is true. Sanders has the hippies and liberal fringes of the Democrat party.

His discussion on Meet the Press was typical Bernie. He did say that his citizens in Vermont only have guns to hunt while that barbarian in Louisiana had been in a nut house not by his consent.

Of course mentally ill people shouldn’t have guns, says Bernie Sanders, except in Vermont.

Where they only use guns to hunt.

Heh.

State of the Union-Host Jake Tapper begs The Donald for his Des Moines Register colleagues

The most interesting thing on this show was Jake Tapper pleading with Donald Trump to give his (Tapper’s) journalistic colleagues a break so they may appear at Trump events.

Donald Trump, if you didn’t know, banned reporters from press credentials if they worked for the Iowa Des Moines Register. The Donald says this action was taken for those journalists working for what he says is a lying, very dishonest newspaper.

I don’t know much about the Des Moines Register but it seems to me that The Donald’s tactic is working if he has a Sunday political talk show begging for mercy.

Makes me admire The Donald all the more.

This Week with George Stephanopoulos-Planned Parenthood President explains it to us, very slowly, that our retarded brains can understand.

delritecrichards7.26.15Well she had a tough job, to be sure, Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood, as she had to deal with a video of a PP executive bargaining for the costs of buying a few aborted baby body parts, including one clip where it is explained how to keep the tiny bodies from becoming too “crunchy”.

Oh my goodness but Richards went on and on about how Planned Parenthood provided breast screening and cervix cancer checks. Carly Fiorina answered fluidly when quizzed by the host how she would feel if those PP services were eliminated. “I thought that’s why we have Obamacare,” she said…touche to Carly.

Richards said, at least twenty times by my count, that those videos were taken out of context.

WHAT OUT OF CONTEXT?

We got eyeballs and ears out here in la-la land where we carry this country on our back. We heard the PP woman wheeling and dealing with the baby parts with cruel descriptions of how their little bodies are turned around in utero so that the torso is not damaged upon extraction. It’s easy enough to crush the head upon exit with the torso and precious body parts saved.

As was explained….completely in context.

Well that’s what the political class says when we see the objects of their affection doing really bad things. Heh. We are taking it out of context.

My Take

There was a bunch of discussion on Hillary and these emails and damn that woman just says NO and she is the Queen of the universe and come on people, she told her she never sent anything classified top secret nor received any email with same classification.

Of course not. You should be ashamed of self for even thinking so.

And now I shall launch into a rant about this Planned Parenthood horror.

For once upon a time, as a young, fertile and nubile woman, I was a woman’s libber of the highest order. Of course I am not proud of this and I was wrong with most everything I believed.

I was alive and in the midst of my reproductive age when abortion was made legal. I had an Aunt who dies from a back alley abortion.

I am even now of a mind that the Republican party should not wade into the abortion morass though I think it’s terribly wrong….terribly, terribly wrong. But it’s legal and if anybody thinks this country will stand for making abortion illegal, I got a bridge to sell….little lopsided but so far works fine.

Not even on a state basis would making abortion illegal work. The liberals would draft up a little spot featuring a pretty 12-year old girl. “This young woman was impregnated by her father,” a solemn voice in the background will say. “And the Republicans want to punish her more by forcing her to bear her own father’s baby.”

You can change that to a woman having her rapist’s child and so forth.

Few babies aborted are a result of incest or rape; the vast majority were conceived in the normal fashion. But it’s a great sound and sight byte which is why the Republicans should avoid the whole thing.

BUT WAIT!

That was until we discover that those cretins are selling baby body parts to the highest bidder. This, yon ladies and gems, is just too much.

NOW the Republicans should jump on this issue because whether pro-choice or pro-life, Americans are horrified by this. I have seen Carly Fiorina take a stand. Heard nothing from Jeb Bush or even The Donald, about this, for that matter.

No they shouldn’t be calling for a ban on abortions. But how about we stop the federal funding, you think? Most of those funds are filtered back into the Democratic party and we don’t need Planned Parenthood for mammograms and cervix cancer exams. Like Carly Fiorina said, we now have Obamacare!

Further, come on, let Planned Parenthood help with birth control perhaps, but darn, there’s a little patch you put on your arm and that’s it for a whole month! An unplanned pregnancy should be rare, if someone were being responsible for their own health.

I am glad that this PP abomination got some serious coverage on the Sunday political talk shows this week and hope to hear more from the Republicans on this matter.

I do not respond to comments on my posts. I certainly have no problem with such commentary and, indeed, encourage it. But I’ve written my piece and I don’t want to argue it further.

Please feel free to email me at patfish1@aol.com if you want to send me a special comment or have any ideas or information you want to share.

NEXT : I think it’s time for me to catch up on the Sussex county council and see what they’re up to.

Bernie Sanders is talking about real issues that dramatically impact average people. If he was some bitter clinger talking about sexual and resentment issues the republicans would love him. Amazes me how many middle and lower middle class republicans can so easily be distracted from substantive issues by appealing to their tribal resentments

  2. mouse says:

And most of Sander’s support comes from the most educated and learned people in the nation. But I know education and especially science are suspect in republican circles

  3. mouse says:

How about that Ted Cruz and his statements about the majority leader from his own party! The Republicans have controlled both houses of congress for the better part of a year and I have seen little difference. Where are the jobs?

  4. Geezer says:

Americans are not only not horrified by this, but if you told them it would add 10 years to their lives, 75% would be in favor of it.

Just as Americans don’t want to know where their meat comes from, they don’t want to know where their medical advances come from. That doesn’t mean they don’t want the medical advances, or the meat.

  5. fightingbluehen says:

I like to know where my meat comes from Geezer. I try not to buy meat that comes from Mexico, but sometimes it’s not labeled.
Speaking of labels, what’s up with John Carney voting to NOT let States decide for themselves if they want to label food products that contain GMOs. We now know where Delaware’s Democrats allegiances lie, and it’s not with consumers. It’s with corporations.

  6. mouse says:

Most of the Democrats vote the same way as the republicans and are owned by corporate interests. The dems just don’t pander to people’s sexual issue and tribal obsessions

Got something to say? Go for it!
