Last evening, 35th District, Representative Dave Wilson officially kicked off his campaign for re-election. As has become his tradition, Rep. Wilson held this event in the heart of the 35th at the Park in downtown Bridgeville.
The event was well attended, and there was free ice cream from VANDERWENDE’S FARM CREAMERY!
These are the people who will be out there working for Dave Wilson, they are his loyal supporters, he doesn’t have to spend the evening with them, to convince them, he is the right man for the job, he has been doing that for years.
This was a thank you from Dave for past support, not so much a campaign rally. More like a gathering of friends and family, which it was. There were young and old in the crowd, with entertainment and speeches. Anyone who knows Dave Wilson, knows he is one of, if not the hardest working man in Sussex County, and he applies the same work ethic to campaigning.
Dave’s opponent was thanking one person on Facebook for meeting them last night, while Dave had close to a hundred people come out for him.
Now it gets real.
