Soon I hope to be seated at legislative hall in Dover that I may learn more about that law-making process, perhaps meet some of those who vote.

For now I unabashedly follow the reports of the 9-12 Patriot activist, Jim Atkiins. Jim issues terrific reports, God bless the man for his efforts.

I used Jim’s report as a guideline but did check in online to see the status of the bills as currently introduced. Below a list of current bills in committee and my wise thoughts.

laytonjohnsonRetired Brigadier General and Mayor of Georgetown, Layton Johnson, passed away on 2/12/15. He was Mayor of Georgetown from 1962-1988. Thank mine own Senator Brian Pettyjohn for this information and he requests that

Johnson’s family be kept in our prayers.

Condolences also to Senator Pettyjohn as we understand that Layton was a cherished mentor of his, Pettyjohn also once holding the position of Georgetown Mayor.

Letter To Editor

delaware   A typical person who works a 40-50 hr work weeks in Delaware, working for  just one employer will typically drive no more than 10 hours a week to get to that job. (2 hours each day)
When a person has to work 3 or more jobs that consist of only a 4 hour part-time job (20 hours x 2 and one 10 hour job =-50 hours) the cost for getting back and forth to work increases exponentially.
