Thank You

veterans-day-pfull   Thank you will never be enough, but it’s all we’ve got. Thank you, too every person who ever put on the uniform and stood a watch. Our freedom is directly and  forever linked to your sacrifice. May God bless and protect our Veterans.

” Our freedom is directly and forever linked to your sacrifice. “

    That is false.

  2. Frank Knotts says:

    That is your opinion.

  3. Old Sussex County Native says:

Delacrat, without the sacrifice of our soldiers, you’d probably be saying that in German, if you were even allowed to say it at all…

  4. delacrat says:

    Old Sussex County Naif,

Even is that were true, you had to go back the better part of a century to find a dated and weak example to support your argument. The fact is “the sacrifice of our soldiers” has nothing to do with why we still speak English, instead of say Vietnamese.

  5. Andy says:

@delacrat- what am I missing here? Are your not grateful for the sacrifice of veterans? Even if your actual point was that of vernacular, it would seem you picked a bad day to pick this battle.

  6. Frank Knotts says:

Andy, delacrat is just playing the cliché role of the big bad super liberal. 🙂

  7. delacrat says:

    Andy,

” Are your not grateful for the sacrifice of veterans?”

What do you think? I am about as grateful as Frank is for NotDonAyotte’s ‘s “sacrifice” during Viet Nam.

“what am I missing here? …. “Even if your actual point was that of vernacular,”

Your lack of understanding of what “vernacular” means and basic English grammar indicates, despite any attendance records to the contrary, you’re missing a few years of elementary education.

    Frank,

If name-calling is the best you can do, you really don’t have much of an argument.

  8. Frank Knotts says:

Delacrat first I am grateful for the service of anyone who served even NDA. As for name calling, check the comment the smiley face was to indicate that it was a joke. But you do demonstrate the lack of a sense of humor on the part of the more “progressive” amongst us. 🙂

  9. delacrat says:

    Frank,

If you really believe Don Ayotte and “the troops” are why we are not speaking Vietnamese today, you need to have that TV extracted from between your ears.

  10. FLYLADY says:

Yeah, Frank…shame on you for supporting the troops! How positively terrible of you to be appreciative of those who served to protect the rights of free speech that both intellects and imbeciles enjoy equally on this very site. Go ahead and follow delacrat’s moronic advice. Meanwhile, HE needs his HEAD extracted from elsewhere!

Delacrat, your attitude toward and lack of appreciation for our military is shameful!

  11. delacrat says:

    Flylady,

Yeah, “those who served to protect the rights of free speech” from Ho Chi Minh.

You’re the imbecile, honey, not me.

  12. FLYLADY says:

Ahhh…delacrat! The standard liberal response…don’t cite facts (if they actually exist) to back up your argument…just start with the name-calling. How utterly predictable and disappointing. And hey, a big liberal like yourself calling a woman “honey”? How curious…

I did not call you an imbecile (your subconscious must be self-identifying), but I did state that your response to Frank was moronic. You may not agree with the country’s military policies, but these veterans put their life on the line for all of us, even an ungrateful person like yourself. Your attitude toward them is despicable.

  13. Frank Knotts says:

Delacrat I did not say thank you to the government, only the people who served. I did not point out any specific wars. You seem to have a special issue with Vietnam must be you age that makes that important to you. Those people had no say in going, so why would you not call that a sacrifice.

Got something to say? Go for it!
