We have a real nice interview of Ben Carson of the day and yes, I do very much like Ben Carson.
Carson gave an explanation of his plan for a health savings account. Chris Wallace tried to make sense of it and frankly Carson needs to give it a little more thought.
Face the Nation-Adam Schiff and Devin Nunes go at it.-
In one of the more intriguing narratives of the day, we found the promotion of tonight’s “60 Minutes” to be very revealing. Of course 60 Minutes is a CBS show so it isn’t odd that Face the Nation would be promoting one of its own shows.
However, guess who’s going to be on 60 Minutes tonight, or might be on now depending on when yon reader is reading this? Joe Biden!
It’s going to be a little promo kind of thing. For while I’d been warning yon readers that Biden was NOT going to run, no matter what they told Fox’s Ed Henry….I noted that ole Joe’s withdrawal speech soundly strangely like it could be a jump -in speech.
I got some real insightful thoughts on Biden under My Take.
Chris Christie showed up with John Dickerson and he looked pretty good. Christie’s got a good shot at VP, at least at this point and as I see it. Give Jeb time to drop out, couple other hangers-on, and Christie could have his name on a Republican ticket.
Christie asserted that the bogus crappy Black Lives Matter movement was promoting cop killing. The show’s host denied but Christie maintained that stance and I was, for a brief moment, impressed.
Finally Adam Schiff, the Hillary butt licker, came in and argued with Republican from California, Devin Nunes. Nunes talked about the debt ceiling increase coming up and says he quite likes imminent House Speaker, Paul Ryan.
This Week with George S.-Trump and Ben Carson’s Religion
So Donald Trump mentioned, several times in the past week, that Ben Carson was a 7th Day Adventist. Now Trump didn’t say 7th Day Adventists were nuts and crazies, like so many of them are, but he was cute about it.
First, yon ladies and gems, I have nothing against 7th Day Adventists, don’t know any, know not much about their faith but the general unspoken consensus is that this is a very odd religion.
I don’t know why but heh, I think it’s why The Donald mentioned it at all. Because the people they call the “evangelicals”….well they might not be fans of Donald Trump but I’m not sure they’ll buy into this guy who’s a 7th Day Adventists.
Lookit, Carson is beating Trump in the polls in Iowa and Trump is evidently trying to win a presidential Republican nomination. So he’s throwing punches.
I kind of like it.

State of the Union-Bernie Sanders a sexist?
So in this last political show of the day we meet up once again with Donald Trump and this time we learn about the Trump doctrine.
I have no idea what the Trump doctrine is but it has something to do with immigration.
Heh, I hear Hillary called Bernie Sanders a sexist, of all things. Of course Bernie rolled his eyes and denied such a thing. I had to wonder how desperate they have to be to call Bernie the liberal names they only reserve for Teabaggers.
Meet the Press-Elijah and Trey Meet Again
There wasn’t a whole bunch of talk on the Sunday talk shows about the Benghazi hearings but there was some. On Meet the Press we met the two opposing leaders of the House, Trey Gowdy and Elijah Cummings.
Trey, as always, made his argument that those who ignore pleas for help should be questioned while Cummings did his usual Hillary ass licking, he’s very good at it.
My Take
It looks to me, yon wise ladies and gems, that Joe Biden, while told to step down in view of Hillary’s reasonably okay debate performance. At least as is my insight on the matter.
For I think ole roaming hands Joe really wanted to run for President and this is his last chance most likely. But I don’t believe the money people were willing to move the money from Hillary to….Joe Biden? I didn’t think so.
However, Hillary’s got issues so ole Joe pulls out of the presidential race from guess where? The Rose Garden! Whoever heard of such grand ceremony for what is essentially a defeat?
And now we have Joe appearing on 60 Minutes and come on people….this is all to keep ole Joe’s name out there. Because Hillary….she’s not going to win people, I know it, I know it, I know it.
When people go into that voting booth, the left wing nut jobs are going to pull for Sanders, the more moderate Democrats might go for a Trump or Carson, some of the women might go for Hillary.
But the vast majority of the people are NOT going to pull that lever for Hillary, I know this deep in my bones. She is viewed as someone who lies and considers herself far removed from the people and their silly rules.
So there might be required a last minute intervention with Joe Biden ready to jump in when Hillary’s polls start dropping.
It’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
