I fear Mr. Trump would more likely be operating The National Razor than be condemned to it.

  2. Rick says:

Emblematic of Frank’s out-of-touch hysteria. In Sussex, I believe Trump garnered over 60% of the GOP primary vote. Maybe Frank should move to Wilmington?

Now, Delacrat, mouse, Nitpicker, Geezer and the rest of Frank’s “liberal” friends, chime in.

  3. Henry says:

    Applause!

  4. mouse says:

Do you guys every worry about belonging to a tribal party that relies entirely on the racial and cultural resentments of old angry white identity types who are almost entirely uneducated and resentful of education, science and the educated?

  5. mouse says:

    The sheriff’s getting nearer

  6. Frank Knotts says:

So Rick, when you opposed Romney that was your right, but if I oppose Trump I’m out of touch. Ok. And I love how you keep quoting 60% of the 20% of registered Republicans who voted . Time will tell.

  7. mouse says:

60% who comprise a frightened group of angry uneducated whites willing to believe any conspiracy, smear or misinformation that fits what they want to believe while they hide in their bunkers down the dirt lane to their trailers worried that someone will come for the AK 47 that they can’t even afford because they fear unions that would allow them the wealth to purchase their beloved machine gun lol

  8. Rick says:

So Rick, when you opposed Romney that was your right, but if I oppose Trump I’m out of touch. Ok.

Most conservatives opposed Romney. That’s why he lost.

You are out-of-touch because you run a blog in Sussex County that is supposedly a conservative blog, yet you oppose the nominee that was supported by 60% of Republican primary voters who reside in the same county in which you live and operate your “conservative” blog. Get it?

Now, if you lived in Wilmington- Murder Town- or the periphery, you’d fit right in.

    So, tell us Frankie:

How long did it take you to scrawl this piece of trash or how much did you pay a third-grader to do it?

In addition to being a misogynist, liar, bigot and hatemonger, your childish artwork really sucks.
This is one of the reasons why I left the GOP.

Delaware Right is nothing more than the blog site equivalent of a Sussex County bathroom wall.
They say that one’s taste in art is strong indicator of their character and psychological makeup.

What else can we expect from the likes of you, Grossman and Jeff Cragg?

  10. mouse says:

What exactly is a conservative? Seems to be a nebulous sort of thing

  11. Mike Protack says:

Sooner or later a few misinformed commenters will realize Trump’s rise has not been based on any ideology or single stance-it is based on the total rejection of the Satanic ruling political class by GOP primary voters and some Independents and Democrats.

Sadly, the Democrats are the party of the elites who pay lip service to the downtrodden and the Republican Party has sold out to Crony Capitalism.

The DEGOP needs the same kind of house cleaning of the big egos and small minds willing to promote unity while standing for nothing of substance.

  12. Dave says:

“What exactly is a conservative? Seems to be a nebulous sort of thing”

Well Reagan used to be the idealized model of a true conservative, but most of “conservatives” (whatever that means), won’t publicly sneer at him, but don’t actually talk about him very much any longer. I don’t think there is a commonly accepted definition any longer, so just about anybody can claim it. But that also means that anyone who does claim it is usually immediately attacked for not being a “true conservative”

Of course, liberals have the same problem with some liberals being accused of being Republican lite, of even Satan in disguise. So really they have the same problem with purity. Unfortunately purity is only the province of virgins and I’m pretty sure that neither the conservatives or the liberals are virgins.

  13. Henry says:

No need to say anything Mike Protack said it all. Glad I am not the only one who sees through the state GOP’s masquerade.

  14. Athena says:

So, the cop did the two reporters a favor by throwing them out of that den of iniquity?
The DE-GOP is brain dead just like DR.

  15. fightingbluehen says:

Frank, it’s not whether he is going to build the wall or not; it’s that he can bring that to the bargaining table.

Let’s say that you own a rental property, and your tenants have not paid rent for like four months or something like that. You walk in there and tell those dead beats that, “hey, you guys got to get the hell out”. Well, they throw a bunch of excuses at you, and plead their case, and that’s when the bargaining starts. Trump brings the,” you got(have) to get the hell out” to the table. That’s what trump is all about….”the deal”.

  16. Blue Hen Flacco says:

“Conservative” means nothing to Trump supporters. Conservatism was a fad like the pet rock and hula hoop to them, thrown away once a real live TV star came to town. .

  17. Frank Knotts says:

So I have to base my beliefs on where I live? Why is that Rick? Because you are white so you only live where other whites live? Because you would only live where other so called conservatives live?
My God man you truly are a bigot. I base my beliefs on what I believe, not my frigging zip code. Unlike you, I put my view point out there for discussion, not your approval. Principles are easy to talk about, but harder to live by.

  18. Fish Bites says:

“Most conservatives opposed Romney. That’s why he lost.
You are out-of-touch because you run a blog in Sussex County…”

Sussex County 2012 Republican Presidential Primary Results:

    GINGRICH NEWT 3,071
    PAUL RONALD E. 856
    ROMNEY MITT 5,421
    SANTORUM RICK 551

  19. mouse says:

I hate white men and bigots

  20. mouse says:

I see “conservative” as a euphemism for repressive sexual issues and resentment of the other. It’s a useless term and only serves to divide. I’m conservative. I raised my daughter with very traditional values, I have traditional values in application to my life for the most part but I have no concern about what other’s do who aren’t hurting me or my family. I want to conserve the Earth”s life support mechanisms and natural heritage for future generations including those in my family. Those are strong family values. Somehow that defines me as a liberal which is another useless term that only divides.

  21. Rick says:

So I have to base my beliefs on where I live? Why is that Rick? Because you are white so you only live where other whites live? Because you would only live where other so called conservatives live?
My God man you truly are a bigot. I base my beliefs on what I believe, not my frigging zip code. Unlike you, I put my view point out there for discussion, not your approval. Principles are easy to talk about, but harder to live by.

I know what your “beliefs” are, Frank. You are essentially a Democrat. But as is obvious to anyone but you, my comments don’t have anything to do with your personal beliefs.

However, I will give you credit for playing the race card. I am a “bigot” for “wanting to live where whites live.” Except I never said anything about race or “whites.” You did.

You should know by now, Alinskyesque distractions do not work with me.

You- through your supposedly “conservative” local blog- and you- on local talk radio (often broadcast from a local restaurant), incessantly chide your fellow Sussex Republicans for supporting Trump, a candidate who garnered over 60% in Sussex County.

Thus, it is apparent that you are out-of-touch with the Republicans of Sussex County. Is that simple enough for you to comprehend?

Sussex County 2012 Republican Presidential Primary Results:

    GINGRICH NEWT 3,071
    PAUL RONALD E. 856
    ROMNEY MITT 5,421
    SANTORUM RICK 551

Thanks for the (partial) figures, FB. Apparently, conservatives nationwide who supported Gingrich and Santorum never showed-up at the polls in ’12- this explains Romney’s poor numbers. Romney certainly did well with GOP moderates. Too bad when the choice is a GOP moderate and a Democrat, the Democrat wins.

  22. Henry says:

Frank you sided with the wrong ones this election “The Moderates” BC they are the minority in this state. You should have stayed with the right side of the party “The Real Conservatives” not the fake ones who say they are but then when they are up state say they are moderates which is the GOP establishment. AKA Mike Castle crew.

The entire Real Conservative base in the state that includes Republicans, Democrats, Independents and Libertarians are a majority which the election of 2010 proved beyond a doubt.

This is also the base of disgruntled citizens that want change among our government structure eliminating career politicians. Hence The Real Conservative movement to vote out career politicians and vote for anti – establishment candidates to office this election year just like 2010.

As you now know that is why Trump is so over whelmingly popular and will lead the GOP ticket with anti-establishment candidates. This is what it will look like so get used to it now.

On election day in November this is what you will see on the Republican ticket:

    Trump
    Lafferty
    Gunn

All anti establishment candidates. They will beat the Democratic ticket because the Democratic Conservatives will cross over and vote for them.

A white man, a white woman and a black man. Ethic Diversity All have life long business backgrounds and other community experiences.

Damn fine winning ticket that the GOP in Delaware has had in the past twenty years.

  23. Frank Knotts says:

Rick again quotes 60% of the 20% who voted as prove of a movement. Time will tell. Rick you are a one trick pony. Label all who disagree as liberal and minimize their views. I used race as an example because it is the same mentality. If I live in Sussex then I have to believe a certain way, or else I am out of touch.
Henry diversity for diversity sake is meaningless, without qualifications.

  24. Fish Bites says:

“Thanks for the (partial) figures, FB.”

Those are the complete figures from Sussex County in the 2012 GOP primary. Sussex County GOP primary voters preferred Romney by a large majority. Romney got more votes than the others combined.

  25. Rick says:

Rick again quotes 60% of the 20% who voted as prove of a movement.

Who used the word “movement?” You.

For the purposes of political trends, about all you have is the voting numbers. So yes, of the 20% of Republicans who voted, 60% voted for Trump. Real data.

If I live in Sussex then I have to believe a certain way, or else I am out of touch.

You make political commentary in Sussex; and your positions, obviously, are not compatible with the positions of Sussex conservatives. This is why your blog has so many “liberals” as regular posters, and why so many callers to GMD and 105.9 can’t stand you. So yes, your views place you “out-of-touch” with conservatives.

Those are the complete figures from Sussex County in the 2012 GOP primary. Sussex County GOP primary voters preferred Romney by a large majority. Romney got more votes than the others combined.

Yes, I realize that. I also realize that not every GOP voter is a conservative. How can you extrapolate, from those numbers, that Romney got the majority of the conservative vote? You can’t. And as I stated, a significant number of those conservatives who supported Santorum et al in the primaries didn’t vote for Romney in the general. This was clearly expressed in exit polls and in Romney’s low numbers.

  26. Henry says:

So you are saying Frank, that Beau Biden (God Rest His Soul) was qualified to run for Attorney General?
A lot of people would argue that. He was not prepared at all for that job and it showed.
I would guess your description of one who is qualified is any elected official that has kept the government’s leather chair seat warm and has nothing to show for it. Just taking up space in leg hall, nodding their head up or down, side to side and showing up half the time.

Oh how shallow of the followers of sheep herders.

  27. Boobie says:

“So you are saying Frank, that Beau Biden (God Rest His Soul) was qualified to run for Attorney General?”

Beau Biden worked for USDOJ for years, and was a federal prosecutor. He was a lot of things, and I never voted for him, but he was definitely qualified to be DE AG in ’06. Less qualified than his opponent, but still qualified.
